Motocross Graphics Materials: Base & Finish Guide | EVEMX

Choosing the Right Materials for Your Graphics Kit

Every EVEMX graphics kit starts with two choices: a base material and a finish. Together they determine how your kit looks, feels, and holds up over time. Use the configurator above to preview any combination with real videos before you order your motocross or supermoto graphics kit.

Base Materials Explained

Standard Road Type is the proven all-rounder — the classic MX base with strong adhesive and reliable durability for everyday riding and racing.

Premium White gives printed colors maximum pop and accuracy. If your design relies on bright, punchy colors, this is the base that makes them shine.

Full Holographic Chrome shifts through the whole rainbow as light and viewing angle change — the loudest, most head-turning base we offer, popular for show bikes and full custom designs.

Full Silver Chrome delivers a clean mirror effect. Colors printed over it take on a metallic depth that flat bases simply can't match.

Metallic adds a subtle shimmer without going full chrome — a refined middle ground between standard and mirror bases.

Reflective lights up under headlights and camera flashes, adding visibility and a unique night-time effect.

Fluo Neon (Orange, Pink, or Yellow) uses fluorescent material for colors so bright they almost glow in daylight — ideal for standing out on the track.

Finish Options

The finish is the protective lamination layer applied over the print. Gloss and Ultra Gloss give a smooth, wet-look shine; Matte and Ultra Matte create a soft, modern, light-reactive look. Textured finishes — Cosmos Glitter, Silver Glitter, Diamond, Frozen, and Prizm — add sparkle or structure you can see and feel, while every finish protects the graphics from scratches, UV, and daily wear.

How a Graphics Kit Is Made

A graphics kit is built from two layers, and understanding what each one does makes it easier to pick the right combination for your bike.

1. The Base Material
This is the layer your design is printed on. It defines the color, the strength of the adhesive, and the overall thickness of the kit.

2. The Finish (Lamination)
This is the protective top layer applied over the print. It's what gives the kit its final look and feel while shielding it from scratches, UV, and rough riding conditions.

The same materials are used across our range — from full kits to matching graphics and stickers — so whatever you order, the quality is identical.
